National Memory Screening Day

Dr. Majid Fotuhi, MD, PhD, Chairman and medical Director of The Neurology Institute for Brain Health and Fitness, is a distinguished researcher and author in the field of memory and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Fotuhi has identified a memory screening test that meets accepted criteria for use as a screening instrument.

The Institute is able to offer this memory screening test for free for use during AFA’s National Memory Screening Day this November.

Please note:

  • The Institute has qualified healthcare professionals who will administer the screening test, which will be conducted face-to-face for 20 minutes, rather than via computerized tests.
  • AFA does not specify which screening tests must be used as part of NMSD; therefore, the Institute chose a test that is appropriate and that can be conducted face-to-face:

 -  MST (Memory Screening Test)*
